Uzbekistan, Nikken Sekkei Discuss Urban Development Projects

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan's Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade, Laziz Kudratov, met Ryuichi Kizumi, Executive Director of Japanese architectural and engineering company Nikken Sekkei, to discuss prospects for cooperation in architectural design and urban development.

The talks focused on the use of modern engineering solutions in the implementation of investment projects in Uzbekistan. The parties noted the potential for applying the Japanese company's expertise to the design of social and transport infrastructure.

Representatives of Nikken Sekkei confirmed the company's readiness to participate in developing architectural concepts for social, transport and public facilities, as well as to support the transfer of modern design technologies.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties agreed to maintain close cooperation and jointly develop specific project proposals.
