Cypriot Business Delegation Explores Projects in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A delegation of Cypriot business representatives, led by Natalia Kardash, Vice President of the Uzbekistan-Cyprus Business Association, visited Tashkent for a series of meetings with representatives of the Uzbek business community.

The visit was organised at the initiative of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Rome. The delegation included more than 10 representatives of Cypriot businesses.

As part of the programme, roundtable discussions and business-to-business (B2B) meetings were held at IT Park and Holiday Inn Tashkent City, bringing together representatives from the information technology, investment, banking, legal, trade and cosmetics sectors.

The talks resulted in several practical agreements. Companies represented in the Cypriot delegation plan to become residents of IT Park and support efforts to attract European investors to startup projects in Uzbekistan.
