MTZ Plans to Supply 2,000 Tractor Kits to Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Minsk Tractor Works plans to deliver at least 2,000 tractor kits to Uzbekistan by the end of 2026 as part of a joint project with Agromax Technic.

Alexander Surovets, deputy head of the directorate for product promotion and sales to CIS countries at the MTZ marketing center, reported that an assembly production line for BELARUS tractors has already been organized at the facilities of the Uzbek enterprise.

According to the enterprise, the parties signed license agreements providing for the industrial assembly of tractors and the use of the BELARUS trademark for machinery ranging in capacity from 50 to 212 horsepower.

Currently, 12 models of BELARUS tractors have been certified in Uzbekistan. Another model is scheduled to be certified by the end of July.

The Agromax Technic production site is capable of manufacturing more than 3,000 tractors per year operating in one shift. The implementation of the project aims to develop industrial cooperation between Uzbekistan and Belarus in the field of agricultural machinery manufacturing.
