Uzbekistan's Investment Potential Presented in Sichuan Province

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The Embassy of Uzbekistan held a presentation in the capital of China's Sichuan province dedicated to the trade, economic, and investment potential of the republic. Dunyo news agency reported the event.

The event was organized with the assistance of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Sichuan Province.

It brought together representatives of regional ministries and departments, heads of leading companies, industry associations, and business circles.

Participants were briefed on the investment potential of Uzbekistan, ongoing reforms to improve conditions for foreign investors, and promising projects being implemented in the country's special economic and industrial zones.

During the presentation, it was noted that cooperation between the regions of Uzbekistan and Sichuan province is consistently developing in the areas of trade, investment, infrastructure, logistics, energy, and industry.

Following the event, the parties discussed prospects for implementing new investment projects in Uzbekistan, as well as matters concerning the organization of international forums aimed at further expanding mutually beneficial cooperation.
