Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Samarkand will host the Second General Meeting of Members of the Uzbekistan Metallurgy Association and an international forum dedicated to the development of the metallurgical industry on 12 December 2026.
Representatives of leading metallurgical companies in Uzbekistan are expected to attend, along with delegations from China, Russia, Iran, Türkiye and European countries.
Experts and representatives of international organisations, including McKinsey & Company and the World Steel Association, are also listed among the expected participants.
Organisers see the forum as a platform for exchanging experience, discussing the industry's prospects and establishing business contacts among representatives of the metallurgical sector from different countries.
