Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan is improving the system of public services for the use of agricultural lands.
Government Resolution No. 594 dated 18 September 2025, introduces new rules aimed at automating control and increasing transparency in placing objects on such lands.
Under the new rules, before placing objects on irrigated lands, an automatic verification will be carried out through state information systems. This check will confirm the applicant’s lease rights and the total area of the plot according to the state land cadastre.
Within the framework of intra-farm land management projects, it is permitted to place objects that correspond to the main approved use of the plot. On irrigated lands leased for livestock, construction of agricultural objects is allowed up to 1 hectare or no more than 1 % of the total leased area.
Changes to the type of object are allowed only if the area allocated for it is not increased.
The resolution is designed to streamline the use of agricultural lands and ensure compliance with their designated purpose.
