Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and the Italian company APRI International Srl intend to expand cooperation in business services and support for professional communities, the Uzbek Chamber of Commerce and Industry said.
Advisers to the chairman of the Uzbek Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Alisher Shaykhov and Jamil Maksudov, held a meeting with APRI International Srl president Luigi Alfredo Carunchio.
APRI International Srl specialises in supporting independent professionals, including freelancers, lawyers, consultants and other professionals, as well as professional associations, in entering international markets and developing activities abroad.
During the talks, the two sides discussed strengthening trade and economic ties between Uzbekistan and Italy, as well as opportunities for establishing direct partnership in business services. Separate attention was given to interaction between representatives of the liberal professions, including engineers, lawyers, auditors, financiers and consultants.
Meeting participants examined the prospects for providing consulting and legal support to Italian companies interested in entering the Uzbek market. The exchange of experience with Uzbek specialists and the implementation of joint projects were also discussed.
Following the meeting, the two sides agreed to continue cooperation in specific areas and to sign a memorandum of cooperation.
