Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan discuss bilateral ties

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan Soltan Pirmuhamedov has been received at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan on 8 February 2012.

The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the sides underlined with satisfaction development of multilateral cooperation at various levels. In 2011, bilateral trade turnover rose 2.3 times to US$454.3 million.

The sides exchanged opinion on practical steps on further deepening the Uzbek-Turkmen dialogue and bilateral relations in regional and international formats.
