Uzbekistan to sell gas to Kyrgyzstan at price of US$253

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Uzbekistan will supply natural gas to Kyrgyzstan at the price of US$253 per 1,000 cubic meters in 2013, Kyrgyzgas director-general Turgunbek Kulmurzaev said at the session of the Kyrgyz government on 25 December 2012.

Kabar reported that Gazprom agreed on supply of gas with Uztransgaz at the price of US$253 per 1,000 cubic meters.

Turgunbek Kulmurzaev recalled that Kyrgyzstan was purchasing gas at the price of US$290 per 1,000 cubic meters in 2012.

Kyrgyzgas director-general added that Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan will sign a contract on gas supply for 2013 on 29-30 December.
