Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — In Tashkent, the driver of a BMW who engaged in dangerous drifting on Nukus Street and entered into a conflict with another road user has received three days of administrative arrest. The violator's car has been placed in an impound lot.
The incident occurred on 2 July 2026. According to law enforcement agencies, the BMW driver performed dangerous maneuvers in the city center, creating a threat to the safety of other road users. Following this, he engaged in a verbal conflict with the driver of a Monza car, who was forced to stop due to his actions, and insulted him.
After a video recording of the incident appeared on social networks, officers of the Tashkent Traffic Safety Department conducted a review. Based on its results, an administrative protocol was drawn up against the violator, and the car was sent to an impound lot pending an appropriate procedural decision.
The Traffic Safety Department reminded that compliance with the Traffic Rules is the duty of every road user, and any actions that pose a threat to the safety of others entail liability in accordance with the legislation.
The driver himself admitted his guilt and apologized. According to him, he was trying to stop to explain himself to the other motorist, but created an obstacle to traffic through his actions. Afterward, the participants in the incident moved their cars to the side and spoke.
"I regret my action. In the future, this will not happen again," the driver stated.
The author of the video recording reported that the BMW driver tried to turn around three times, which almost caused a traffic accident. After a remark was made, a verbal conflict arose between them, after which the recording was published on social networks.
He also thanked the internal affairs officers for their prompt response, noting that the morning after the video was published, representatives of law enforcement agencies contacted him and took the necessary measures.
