Uzbekistan to Raise Salaries, Pensions, and Stipends
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree "On increasing the amounts of salaries, pensions, stipends and allowances" (No. PF-115 dated 23 June 2026), providing for an increase in social payments, salaries of public sector employees, and stipends.
According to the document, from 1 July 2026, the amounts of pensions and allowances, including child allowances and material assistance to families included in the "Social Register", will be increased by 7 percent.
Following the increase, the minimum old-age pension will amount to 983 000 soums per month, and the minimum disability pension will be 1 083 000 soums.
For families included in the "Social Register", the monthly allowance for one child under the age of three is set at 386 000 soums, and for a child from 3 to 18 years old — 295 000 soums. The additional payment for a second child will amount to 177 000 soums, and for a third and each subsequent child — 118 000 soums.
The amount of monthly material assistance to families included in the "Social Register" will amount to 450 000 soums from 1 July.
In addition, from 1 September 2026, the salaries of public sector organization employees and the amounts of stipends will be increased by 7 percent.
The decree also provides for establishing the base amount for calculating pensions at 504 000 soums per month from 1 July.
From 1 September 2026, the minimum wage will amount to 1 360 000 soums per month, and the base calculating amount will be set at 440 000 soums.
