Uzbekistan, Thailand to cooperate in culture and sport

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan and Thailand signed an agreement on cooperation in culture and sport in Bangkok, the press service of the Ministry of Culture and Sport of Uzbekistan said.

The ministry said that Thailand hosted Days of Culture of Uzbekistan. A delegation led by the first Deputy Minister of Culture and Sport of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Sayfullaev participated in the event.

After negotiations and discussions on cultural-humanitarian issues, the sides signed the agreement on cooperation in culture and sport.

The Uzbek ministry said that the delegation of cultural and art activists of Thailand will visit Uzbekistan soon.
