Uzbekistan, Slovakia to fight illegal drug trafficking

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- An agreement between the Government of Uzbekistan and the Government of Slovak Republic on cooperation in the fight against illicit traffic of drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors came into force on 23 February 2017, the press service of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.

Uzbekistan and Slovakia signed the agreement in Tashkent on 20 September 2016.

The document envisages creation of mechanism of cooperation in fighting illicit traffic of drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors, as well as in the sphere of control over legal production, dissemination and use of precursors.
