Uzbekistan, Russia Discuss Dairy Industry Partnership

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Nuriddin Kushnazarov, Advisor to the Minister of Agriculture of Uzbekistan, has held talks with Alexander Tarasov, Executive Director of the Russian company Logika Moloka.

The main topic of the meeting was the prospects of establishing mutually beneficial cooperation with Uzbek enterprises specializing in the production and processing of milk, as well as finished dairy products. The parties examined potential interaction formats between the foreign company and local manufacturers in detail.

During the negotiations, particular attention was paid to the issues of organizing joint production utilizing existing facilities in Uzbekistan and launching new investment projects.

The Russian delegation received detailed information regarding the current manufacturing capabilities of the republic's dairy processing enterprises, the range of manufactured goods, packaging technologies, existing local brands, and the general export potential of the sector. The meeting participants also analyzed the strategic development plans for the agricultural industry of Uzbekistan.

Following the dialogue, the sides emphasized that the reached agreements and future partnership frameworks will facilitate the attraction of advanced foreign expertise and investment into the republic's dairy industry. This is expected to significantly enhance the competitiveness of Uzbek producers in external markets while strengthening bilateral agro-industrial cooperation between Uzbekistan and Russia.
