Hududgazta'minot Responds to LPG Supply Complaints in Kuva

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Hududgazta'minot JSC has issued an official statement in response to media reports concerning the supply of liquefied gas to residents of Kuva district in Uzbekistan's Ferghana region.

The company said its specialists conducted an on-site inspection and did not confirm claims that consumers had gone 100 days without receiving liquefied gas.

According to the company, the most recent delivery of liquefied gas to the M. Khasanov mahalla in Kuva district was made on 26 May this year. As a result, the interval between deliveries was 65 days. The company said the applicants have now received liquefied gas and have been informed about future deliveries in accordance with the approved schedule.

Hududgazta'minot also reminded consumers that they have the right to check the weight of household gas cylinders when they are delivered.

The company said all vehicles used to deliver liquefied gas are equipped with control scales, allowing cylinders to be weighed on site.

Hududgazta'minot urged consumers to report, via the short number 1104 or through the company's compliance control units, any cases in which they are prevented from checking a cylinder's weight or where its weight does not comply with established standards.

The company said every complaint would be reviewed in accordance with the established procedure and that appropriate measures would be taken under the law if violations are confirmed.
