Uzbekistan Presents AI Initiatives in Astana
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 16–17 April, a delegation of the Ministry of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan participated in the “Data Center & AI Infrastructure Central Asia 2026” conference held in Astana, Republic of Kazakhstan.
The conference serves as a high-level regional platform dedicated to the development of artificial intelligence, data centers, and digital infrastructure.
The event brought together representatives of international organizations, data center operators, cloud technology providers, investors, and technology companies from Central Asian countries, the CIS, and other regions of the world.
Within the framework of the conference, the Uzbek delegation presented initiatives and reforms being implemented in the country in the field of data center development and artificial intelligence technologies.
Special attention was given to measures aimed at strengthening digital infrastructure, expanding computing capacity, and creating favorable conditions for the establishment of data centers oriented toward the development of AI technologies.
