Uzbekistan participates in NATO session on Afghanistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of Uzbekistan led by Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulaziz Kamilov participated in special session on Afghanistan of the NATO summit in Wales, Great Britain, on 4 September 2014, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said.

The member states and partners of the Alliance, who contribute to activities of the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF), as well as invited countries and international organizations discussed issues of stabilization of situation in Afghanistan and its social-economic rehabilitation.

At the end of the event, the Wales Summit Declaration on Afghanistan was adopted.
