Uzbekistan moves one place up in FIFA ranking

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) announced its new ranking of national teams.

Uzbekistan national team moved 1 place up in new ranking and now holds 55th place in the world.

Uzbekistan is the fourth best team in the FIFA ranking among Asian countries. Iran (39th place) and South Korea (48) and Japan (49) are ahead of Uzbekistan among AFC members.

Argentina topped the FIFA ranking. Belgium and Columbia share the second and third places respectively.
