Uzbekistan moves one place up in FIFA ranking

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) announced its new ranking of national teams on 7 May 2015.

According to new ranking, Uzbekistan national team moved to one place up and now holds the 72nd place in the world.

Uzbekistan is the sixth best team in the FIFA ranking among Asian countries. Iran (40th place in the world), Japan (50), South Korea (57) and Australia (64), as well as UAE (68) are ahead of Uzbekistan among AFC members.

Germany, Argentina and Belgium are top three nations in the FIFA ranking.
