Saida Mirziyoyeva Discusses Strategic Partnership with French Foreign Minister

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) —Saida Mirziyoyeva, Head of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan, held substantial talks with Jean-Noël Barrot, the French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs. The Head of the Presidential Administration announced the meeting following the conclusion of their conversation.

During the meeting, the parties reviewed the current state and future prospects of bilateral relations. France stands as one of Uzbekistan's primary strategic partners within the European space. To date, interstate cooperation between the two nations is progressing successfully across key strategic areas, including energy, transportation, infrastructure modernization, as well as education and healthcare.

Following the negotiations, Uzbekistan’s firm objective to further comprehensively strengthen its multifaceted partnership both directly with France and with the European region as a whole was strongly emphasized. Concurrently, the republic reaffirmed its commitment to remaining a reliable, stable, and predictable partner in Central Asia.
