Bakhtiyor Saidov Meets with Swiss Ambassador Konstantin Obolensky

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov held an official farewell meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Swiss Confederation, Konstantin Obolensky.

The diplomat concluded his fruitful five-year diplomatic mission in Uzbekistan, during which he served as a key link in strengthening the interstate dialogue between Tashkent and Bern.

During the conversation, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan expressed deep gratitude to the head of the Swiss diplomatic mission for his active efforts and significant personal contribution to intensifying bilateral relations, expanding the trade and economic portfolio, and deepening cultural and humanitarian ties.

It was noted that over the past five years, the partnership between the two countries has reached a qualitatively new level, marked by increased contacts both at the highest government level and within the framework of interaction with international financial institutions, including joint work in the Swiss Constituency of the IMF and the World Bank.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Bakhtiyor Saidov wished Konstantin Obolensky great success, well-being, and new professional achievements in his future diplomatic career.
