Three Female Athletes to Represent Uzbekistan at Wimbledon

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — From 29 June to 12 July, the main draw matches of the Wimbledon tournament, one of the Grand Slam series competitions, will take place in London. Uzbekistan will be represented at this prestigious tournament by three female tennis players at once.

Kamilla Rakhimova, who occupies the 65th position in the world rankings, entered the main draw of the competition directly.

Maria Timofeeva and Polina Kudermetova are fighting their way into the main draw through the qualifiers and will play their decisive matches today.

Timofeeva will face Great Britain's Heather Watson, while Kudermetova will play against neutral athlete Alina Charaeva.
