Winners of China-Central Asia Youth Startup Competition Awarded in Tashkent
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The final stage and award ceremony for the winners of the startup, innovation, and entrepreneurship project competition among university students from China and Central Asia took place at Tashkent State Agrarian University.
The formal event was attended by staff from the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Uzbekistan, representatives of leading Chinese universities, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Representation of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), as well as the management, faculty, and students of the agrarian university.
The organizers noted that the key objectives of this large-scale intellectual competition are to support innovative ideas and startup initiatives of the younger generation, practically implement modern scientific developments, and deepen scientific and innovation cooperation between China and the states of Central Asia.
This year, the expert commission received 239 startup projects from the PRC and five countries of the Central Asian region. The most promising technological solutions reached the final stage, and their authors were awarded diplomas, certificates, and valuable prizes.
Students of Tashkent State Agrarian University demonstrated high results at the international competition, managing to win several prestigious awards simultaneously.
The top tier of the podium and gold medals went to the authors of the BronSport projects, represented by Ilkhomzhon Dzhuraev and Kamoliddin Abdukarimov, as well as the developers of PollenCare — Elyorbek Mengturaev and Farida Nurmetova.
Silver medals were awarded to the creators of the DiedEnto project, Rakhmatzhon Ruziev and Navruza Khamroeva; representatives of the SlineCare team, Yakhshibekova and Izbasarova; as well as the authors of the EecoBox concept, Sunnatilla Khuzhumurodov and Makhsuma Sayfullaeva.
According to sector specialists, hosting such technological competitions makes a significant contribution to strengthening integration processes among academic science, the innovation sector, and real entrepreneurship. Furthermore, these platforms effectively facilitate the promotion of promising youth startups and elevate interstate scientific partnerships in the region to a qualitatively new level.
