Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan to sign strategic partnership treaty

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan are planning to sign an agreement on strategic partnership within an official visit of the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbaev to Tashkent.

The President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbaev will arrive in Tashkent on 13 June 2013 with the official visit on invitation of the President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov.

The heads of two states will discuss issues of deepening of bilateral cooperation, exchange opinion on actual regional and international issues.

In the result of negotiations, it is planned to sign the agreement on strategic partnership, as well as other documents directed at further developing mutual beneficial and multilateral relations between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.
