Uzbekistan increases tax to fuel consumption

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan will increase tax for individuals on consumption of diesel fuel, petroleum and gas by vehicles from 1 January 2010.

The decision was adopted in line with the resolution of the President “On forecasts of main macroeconomic indicators and parameters of the State Budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2010”.

In line with the document, the tax will rose from 120 soums to 145 soums, gazeta.uz reported.
