Uzbekistan improves its FIFA rating

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- FIFA published its new rating of national teams on 20 November 2009. In line with new rating, Uzbekistan jumped four places up.

Uzbekistan led by Mirdjalol Kasimov holds 76th place in November FIFA rating, thanks to two victories of Malaysia within the qualifiers of the AFC Asian Cup-2011.

As earlier reported, Uzbekistan registered victories over Malaysia twice in four days with the same score 3-1 and booked its place in the AFC Asian Cup-2011, which will take place in Qatar.
