Uzbekistan gets first round bye in Davis Cup 2009

In the second round, Uzbekistan will face South Korea. The tie will be played on 6-8 March 2009.

The draw of the third round, which will be held 8-10 May 2009, will be made later.

Asia/Oceania Zone Group I includes four seeded nations - Australia, South Korea, India and Japan and five unseeded countries - China P.R., Chinese Taipei, Kazakhstan, Thailand, Uzbekistan.
