Uzbekistan FM receives Japanese Deputy Foreign Minister

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan Shinsuke Sugiyama on 10 March 2014. The Japanese delegation arrived in Uzbekistan to participate in regular bilateral consultations.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, the sides considered current state and perspectives of development of Uzbek-Japanese relations, including within the Central Asia + Japan Dialogue.

The sides also discussed some actual international and regional issues.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Uzbekistan Fumihiko Kato participated in the meeting.
