Uzbekistan Exports $6.2 Million in Peppers in H1 2026

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan exported 4,600 tonnes of peppers worth US$6.2 million to 18 countries in January–June 2026, according to the National Statistics Committee.

China emerged as the largest destination for the shipments, importing 1,600 tonnes of Uzbek peppers during the first six months of the year. The Kyrgyz Republic ranked second by volume, receiving 1,200 tonnes of the product.

Uzbekistan exported 489.6 tonnes of peppers to Kazakhstan and 310.6 tonnes to Russia. Deliveries to Spain totaled 286 tonnes, while 220 tonnes were shipped to Türkiye.

Additionally, 149 tonnes of peppers were exported to the United States during the reporting period.

Other destination countries accounted for the remaining 326 tonnes of exported produce. In total, Uzbek pepper shipments reached markets in 18 states during January–June 2026.
