Uzbekistan Expands Presence in Azerbaijan Textile Market

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan is taking steps to expand its presence in Azerbaijan’s textile market. A business mission organized by the Uztextileprom Association, in cooperation with the Exporters Association of Uzbekistan and the country’s embassy in Azerbaijan, was held in Baku from April 11 to 15.

The event brought together 15 leading textile enterprises from Uzbekistan. The main objective of the visit was to increase interest in Uzbek products, boost export volumes, establish new business contacts, and strengthen bilateral cooperation.

As part of the program, participants held B2B negotiations with major importers, wholesale buyers, and procurement representatives. The delegation also conducted an analysis of the local market, including retail networks and pricing trends, and visited manufacturing enterprises in Azerbaijan to assess industry capabilities.

Following the mission, the parties outlined concrete steps aimed at developing partnerships, increasing export volumes, and promoting Uzbek textile products in international markets.
