Ferghana Region Discusses Water Infrastructure Projects

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Governor of Ferghana Region Khayrullo Bozorov held a meeting with representatives of the Belarusian company Formula of Water Group to discuss projects on developing water supply infrastructure and providing the population with high-quality drinking water.

The meeting was attended by company representative Dmitry Zhuk and Formula of Water Group representative in Uzbekistan Bobur Aslanov. The parties reviewed prospects for implementing investment projects in water supply and water treatment.

During the negotiations, the Belarusian company presented its international experience and completed projects. Formula of Water Group provides comprehensive solutions in water supply and water treatment, including facility design, equipment manufacturing, construction, installation, commissioning, and subsequent maintenance services.

Following the meeting, the parties discussed launching a pilot project in mahallas of the Kuva district experiencing drinking water supply issues. After the implementation of the pilot project, successful solutions are expected to be phased into other districts of Ferghana Region.

Khayrullo Bozorov stated his readiness to provide comprehensive support for the implementation of promising projects and instructed responsible officials to ensure close cooperation with the investors.

The parties also agreed to continue cooperation and proceed with the practical implementation of the planned projects.
