Uzbekistan – Equatorial Guinea match abolished

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- A friendly match between Uzbekistan and Equatorial Guinea was abolished, the press service of the Uzbekistan Football Federation said.

It said in a statement that the match was cancelled on initiative of the Football Federation of Equatorial Guinea.

The match was abolished due to possible re-schedule of the match between Equatorial Guinea and Benin within the Africa Nations Cup qualifiers to 3 June.

Secretary General of the Football Federation of Equatorial Guinea Nsue Tadeo expressed hope that the match between two nations will take place in near future.
