Uzbekistan directs 3,000 tonnes of wheat to Afghanistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- The Government of Uzbekistan handed over over 3,000 tonnes of food wheat to the Afghan people as humanitarian aid, Dunyo news agency reported.

The Agency strated that humanitarian aid has been provided to assist Afghanistan affected by the drought.

Today, the Uzbek side has transferred humanitarian aid to Afghanistan. The delegation of Uzbekistan headed by the special representative of the President of Uzbekistan for Afghanistan Ismatilla Irgashev flew to Afghanistan.
