Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Drinking water supplies will be temporarily suspended in parts of Tashkent from 10:00 on 3 August until 10:00 on 4 August due to planned maintenance at a water distribution facility in the Mirzo-Ulugbek district.

The work will include the replacement of five main pipeline valves.

According to the water utility, the restrictions will affect 22 mahallas, 884 apartment buildings, 7,006 private households, 242 state and social institutions, and more than 33,000 residents.

During the maintenance work, drinking water will be delivered to the affected areas by specialised water tankers.

Municipal services have advised residents to prepare an adequate supply of drinking water in advance.

A list of the addresses affected by the temporary water supply suspension, as well as the water delivery schedule, has been published through the official information resources.
