Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — WB Taxi, a ride-hailing service operated by RWB Group, the joint company formed by Wildberries and Russ, has launched operations in Ferghana.
Users can book rides across the city through the mobile app, available on Google Play and the App Store, the company said.
Passengers in Ferghana can choose from three fare categories: Standard, Comfort and Multi. The latter allows users to search for a vehicle across several categories simultaneously to reduce waiting times.
The service also offers a rewards programme. Users who pay for rides by bank card through the app receive bonus points that can be used to pay for future trips.
According to Timur Aliyev, head of WB Taxi in Uzbekistan, the service offers drivers transparent partnership terms, a reduced aggregator commission for partners and regular payments. Drivers can also earn additional income by meeting the platform’s operating requirements.
Before entering Ferghana, WB Taxi had already been operating in Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, Namangan and Andijan.
Outside Uzbekistan, the service is available in Belarus, Kyrgyzstan and Armenia. The company lists Minsk, Brest, Grodno, Bishkek, Osh, Manas and Yerevan among its cities of operation.
