Tanzila Narbayeva Awarded Uzbekistan's "El-Yurt Hurmati" Order

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has signed a decree awarding Senate Chairperson Tanzila Narbayeva the "El-Yurt Hurmati" Order.

According to the decree, the state award was conferred in recognition of her many years of distinguished service in public administration and governance, her outstanding contribution to the development of parliamentary activity, and her consistent role in implementing democratic reforms in New Uzbekistan.

The decree also highlights Narbayeva's contribution to strengthening the legal foundations of national statehood, ensuring the implementation of priority government objectives aimed at protecting human dignity and honour, and enhancing the role and status of women in society.

It further recognizes her work in fostering patriotism and respect for national and universal values among the younger generation, her active participation in the country's public and political life, and her contribution to the development of state institutions.

The award was presented on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the birth of the Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
