Mirziyoyev, UAE President Discuss Strategic Partnership

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation with United Arab Emirates President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

At the beginning of the conversation, the UAE president congratulated Mirziyoyev on his birthday, wishing him good health, prosperity and continued success in his public duties, as well as peace and prosperity for the people of Uzbekistan.

During the call, the two sides noted with satisfaction the strengthening of the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and the United Arab Emirates and the accelerated implementation of major joint projects.

The leaders agreed to continue active political dialogue and deepen cooperation in trade, investment, and cultural and humanitarian fields.

Mirziyoyev and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan also exchanged views on regional and international issues.
