Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Shukhrat Bakhodirovich Abduvaliev has been appointed deputy director of the Agency for Insolvency Affairs under Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Justice. The appointment was formalised by an order signed by the minister of justice.
Abduvaliev has experience in the banking and financial sector, where he held various positions at the National Bank for Foreign Economic Activity of Uzbekistan and the Central Bank.
He worked at the Yunusabad branch of the National Bank for Foreign Economic Activity, as well as in Central Bank divisions responsible for accounting and reporting, licensing and regulation of credit institutions, and prudential supervision. During his career, he progressed from specialist to department head.
Since September 2024, Abduvaliev had served as deputy head of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan’s Department of Prudential Banking Supervision.
His professional experience includes financial reporting, analysis of banking activities and prudential supervision of credit institutions.
The Ministry of Justice congratulated Abduvaliev on his appointment and wished him success in his new role.
