Uzbekistan denounces agreement of EurAsEC

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan denounced an agreement on cooperation in the sphere of execution of criminal punishment within the Eurasian Economic Community (EurAsEC).

President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov signed a resolution “On denouncing international agreement” on 13 December 2014.

Uzbek leader entrusted Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan to direct notification on denouncement of the agreement by Uzbekistan to depository.

The agreement on cooperation in the sphere of execution of criminal punishment within the EurAsEC was signed on 20 June 2006 in Minsk, Belarus.
