Uzbekistan Citizens’ Visits to Türkiye Rise 24.7%

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A total of 127,241 citizens of Uzbekistan visited Türkiye for tourism purposes in January–June 2026, according to the National Statistics Committee.

Compared with the same period last year, the number of trips increased by 25,200, or 24.7%.

The majority of Uzbek citizens travelled to Türkiye for tourism, with 104,289 people visiting the country for this purpose.

A total of 19,629 citizens travelled to Türkiye to visit relatives, while 1,608 people went for medical treatment, 967 for business trips, and 748 for education.

According to the National Statistics Committee, tourism remained the most common purpose of trips to Türkiye in the first half of the year, accounting for more than 80% of all visits.
