Uzbekistan Chemical Output Rises 4.7% in January–May

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Large enterprises in Uzbekistan produced chemical products worth 19.7 trillion soums in January–May 2026.

Output increased by 4.7% compared with the same period of 2025, according to the National Statistics Committee.

Navoi Region recorded the highest chemical production, with output totaling 5.4 trillion soums.

The Republic of Karakalpakstan ranked second with 3.6 trillion soums, followed by Tashkent Region with 2.9 trillion soums.

Chemical production reached 2.6 trillion soums in Kashkadarya Region, 2 trillion soums in the city of Tashkent and 1.9 trillion soums in Ferghana Region.

Production in the remaining regions totaled 362.2 billion soums in Andijan Region, 341 billion soums in Samarkand Region, 239.9 billion soums in Bukhara Region, 209.3 billion soums in Namangan Region and 130.9 billion soums in Jizzakh Region.

Output amounted to 36.2 billion soums in Khorezm Region, 17.7 billion soums in Syrdarya Region and 12.3 billion soums in Surkhandarya Region.
