Andijan Region Trading House Opens in Belarus

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The Andijan Region Trading House has opened in the Vitebsk Region of Belarus, specializing in the promotion and sale of products manufactured by enterprises of the Uzbek region.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Hokim of Andijan Region, Shukhratbek Abdurakhmanov, the leadership of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, and representatives of the two regions.

The new trading house will function not only as a retail platform but also as a modern showroom. It features ready-made clothing, food products, handicrafts, and other export-oriented goods produced by enterprises in the Andijan Region, aimed at Belarusian and foreign buyers.

The launch of the trading house is expected to expand the presence of Andijan Region products on the Belarusian market, increase export volumes, and create additional opportunities for local manufacturers.

According to the parties, the opening of the new trade facility marks another stage in the development of trade and economic cooperation between the Andijan and Vitebsk regions, and will contribute to the further strengthening of interregional ties between Uzbekistan and Belarus.
