Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan FMs Discuss Strategic Partnership
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 18 April, Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhtiyor Saidov held talks with Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov.
The meeting took place in a warm and substantive atmosphere. The sides noted the steady strengthening of relations based on friendship, mutual respect, and trust, rooted in shared history, language, and values connecting the peoples of both countries.
During the discussions, priority areas of the bilateral agenda were reviewed, aimed at further developing strategic partnership and allied relations between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan.
Particular attention was given to expanding cooperation in trade and economic relations, transport and logistics, energy, as well as cultural and humanitarian interaction.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides agreed to make full use of existing potential to deepen bilateral cooperation across all key areas.
