Uzbekistan approves list of undesirable foreign films

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan approved a list of foreign films, which are not recommended for importing, replicating and distributing on the territory of the country, the press service of the Agency for Intellectual Property said.

The list was approved by the expert commission in the field of information and mass communications.

The list includes 225 films, which have a negative impact on consciousness of young people and contain scenes of violence, cruelty and immorality, as well as agitate use of alcohol and tobacco products, lightheadedness, sexual incontinence, homosexuality and swinging.

The list includes such films as "Scary Movie", "Saw", "Resident Evil", "Nightmare on Elm Street" and others.
