Uzbekistan and St Petersburg Discuss Regional Cooperation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation with Governor of St Petersburg Alexander Beglov, during which the sides discussed further development of practical cooperation between Uzbekistan’s regions and the Russian city.

Alexander Beglov congratulated the Uzbek leader on his birthday, wishing him good health, well-being and success in his work.

The talks focused on measures to increase mutual trade, implement new cooperation projects and continue cultural and humanitarian exchanges.

The sides noted the importance of further developing cooperation based on the existing roadmap for partnership.
