Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan Discuss Strengthening Relations

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bobur Usmanov held a meeting on 11 August 2026 with Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Uzbekistan Rashad Mammadov.

The sides discussed the status and prospects for developing relations of strategic partnership and alliance, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.

During the meeting, special attention was paid to preparing for upcoming high-level and top-level events, as well as expanding the legal framework for bilateral cooperation.
