Bakhtiyor Saidov, Sergio Gor Discuss Uzbekistan–US Relations

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met with US Special Envoy for South and Central Asia Ambassador Sergio Gor in New Delhi on 4 August 2026.

The parties noted the development of the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and the United States and discussed further avenues of bilateral interaction.

During the meeting, the interlocutors reviewed the step-up of dialogue at the highest and high levels, and defined priority areas of cooperation between the two countries.

In addition, Bakhtiyor Saidov and Sergio Gor discussed cooperation within the C5+1 format, preparations for upcoming joint events, as well as topical issues on the regional and international agenda.

Following the talks, the parties agreed to maintain an open and trusting dialogue and expand practical cooperation between Uzbekistan and the United States.
