Uzbekistan and Alfit Discuss Phytoproduct Production
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The Consulate General of Uzbekistan organized an online meeting between officials from the Yakkabag District administration and regional department of Kashkadarya Region and representatives of Alfit, a company based in Russia's Altai Krai, news agency Dunyo reported.
The parties discussed prospects for cooperation in manufacturing products based on medicinal herbs.
Alfit specializes in producing more than 350 types of phytoproducts. Its product range includes encapsulated herbal teas, botanical extracts, specialized cosmetics, and confectionery products, including sugar-free items.
During the negotiations, participants emphasized the importance of developing the presence of high-tech phytotherapeutic products in the Uzbek market, including items produced in Altai Krai.
Company representatives expressed interest in establishing cooperation with Uzbek enterprises in manufacturing therapeutic products, including medicines based on medicinal herbs, as well as food and care products.
The Uzbek side stated its readiness to develop interaction with Alfit and to consider joint production of items based on medicinal herbs grown in Yakkabag District.
Following the online meeting, the parties agreed to organize a visit by an Alfit representative to Yakkabag District. During the trip, the Russian company representative will be able to review the regional production and natural potential.
