Uzbekistan and Poland to Expand Digitalization Cooperation
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Ambassador of Uzbekistan Amirsaid Agzamkhodjayev met with Deputy Minister of Digital Affairs of Poland Rafał Rosiński, news agency Dunyo reported.
The parties agreed to expand cooperation in the fields of digitalization, cybersecurity, innovation, and scientific research.
One of the areas of interaction will involve cooperation between Poland's NASK Research Institute and research institutes operating under Uzbekistan's Ministry of Digital Technologies.
The parties paid special attention to developing ties between educational institutions of the two countries. Uzbekistan's Cyber University plans to establish cooperation with the Warsaw University of Technology, the University of Warsaw, and the Wrocław University of Science and Technology.
The collaboration is expected to include student and faculty exchanges, the implementation of joint educational and research programs, and the training of cybersecurity specialists.
To further work through the agreements reached, the parties plan to hold a videoconference in the near future.
