Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The volume of postal and courier services in Uzbekistan reached 4.2 trillion soums in January–June 2026, an 18.2% increase compared to the same period last year, according to the National Statistics Committee.

Tashkent accounted for the largest share of the total volume at 2.3 trillion soums. Samarkand region ranked second, generating 462.2 billion soums in services.

In Ferghana region, the volume of postal and courier services reached 300.6 billion soums, followed by Tashkent region with 289.9 billion soums and Kashkadarya region with 260.4 billion soums.

Services in Andijan region totaled 167.3 billion soums, while Namangan region recorded 112.1 billion soums, Khorezm region reached 55.8 billion soums, and Surkhandarya region registered 54.3 billion soums.

Bukhara region recorded 49.6 billion soums, followed by the Republic of Karakalpakstan with 44.4 billion soums, Syrdarya region with 37.8 billion soums, Navoi region with 33.5 billion soums, and Jizzakh region with 32.3 billion soums.

More than half of the total volume of postal and courier services in the first six months of the year was concentrated in the capital city of Tashkent, while regional totals remained significantly smaller.
